2009, Nordic Ways will celebrate its 11th year in China!

The first event in 2009 - classic Huangshan MTB Festival - ended up being the time with most participants ever in its 4 year long history

Next Nordic Ways organized event will be in May and it will be a very special one: China-Sweden Table Tennis Challenge! See World Champions like Jan-Ove Waldner, Jorgen Persson and other famous Chinese ping pong masters in a great show held in Wuxi.

The season continues in June with our skiers coming back to compete in the Summer Ski Sprint held in different cities across Chinas northern provinces. Its Cross country skiing in the middle of the Chinese summer with some of the worlds top athletes! 

We will continue in June with Lidingoloppet China, the sister event to the world's biggest cross country running event-Lidingoloppet in Sweden. And in July, you will have the chance to cross the vast Inner Mongolian grasslands by bike or on foot! Take part in the Genghis Khan MTB Adventure or run the Grassland Marathon!

September also has a lot to offer. With our bike race Vatternrundan China moving to Yunnan-cyclists have the chance to go on a 180 km long race around mythical Fuxianhu, located at Yuxi in the middle of Yunnan. Later on in September, Beijings own Bike Race - Great Wall Bike Festival comes back. Vasaloppet and Tour de Ski China finishes the season.

Early warning! 2010 will add a new brand of event to the Nordic Ways calendar - "Fjällräven Classic China". A hiking event in the mountains of Yunnan in cooperation with the famous Swedish outdoor sports brand Fjällräven-Mountain Fox. A bike race at Shanghai F1 race Track is also in planning...
