The 4th Vasa Cross Country Running Festival Regulations

i. Organiser: Changchun Municipal Government, Nordic Ways

ii. Date: June 25th, 2011, Saturday 9:30 am

iii. Place： Changchun Jingyue Park

iv. Categories:
1. Male/Female Opening Group and Senior Group (born in 1960): 30km, 15km, 7.5km 
2. Male/Female Walking : 7.5 km
3. Children Race: under 12 year-old

v. Disciplines Based
“Competition Rules ”and “Competition Regulations” drafted and examined by China Track and Field Federation.

vi. Competition Rules
1. Participants are required to be passionate runners in good condition with no acute disease of brain & lung or heart disease history, otherwise they are responsible for the any relevant disease accidents involved. Participants are all  required take part in the event willingly.
2. A written consent from the relevant guardians is demanded for the Participant under 18 or over 60.
3. Only the participants registered over Nordic Ways are allowed to take part in the event.
4.  All the participants are demanded to be equipped with the number bibs( right in front). Any action of damaging or altering is not allowed, otherwise your participation right will be canceled.
5. The OC will purchase the insurances for the registered runners, based on the correct information provided. Hence, participants’ correct info is required. Otherwise, they should be responsible for the any risk or injury involved. The free student participants will be allowed to join the race only by buying the insurance themselves.
6. All the participants are demanded to run right following the race track arranged. Otherwise, they should be responsible for any risk of injury involved off the track.
7. Abiding by the rules, paying respect to the race integrity of fairness and honesty , watching out for the safety around should be the high responsibility to each participant. Any kind of attack or damaging are not allowed. Otherwise they should be responsible for any risk of injury involved, and Nordicways are authorized to have them warned, forbidden, unqualified, etc.
8. The OC will be in charge of the Timing and Prize Given
9. Any accidents or danger beyond rescue appearing, the OC is authorized to shorten the race distance or cancel the race accordingly.
10. The final explanation to the all relevant races is owned by the Referee OC.
11. New necessary rules will be publicized by the OC in time.
12. Other relevant rules will be presented while picking up the number bibs.

vii. Awards
1、 Opening Group

2、 Race Medals and Sponsor Gifts for the Senior Group (30km, 15km, and 7.5km)
3、 No timing for Children Race. Race Souvenirs for the children finishing the race.
