Nordic Ways has been awarded as ” Changchun Sports Competition Advanced Unit”, by the Changchun government and Changchun Sports Bureau.

The good co operation between Changchun city and Nordic Ways started with the first edition of Vasaloppet China in 2003, and since then it has just been growing. Today, six years later Vasaloppet attracts more than 20 000 participants which is a huge step forward in comparison to the 750 participants in 2003.

And the co operation is continuing its growth, this summer Changchun will be the host city of Lidingoloppet China that will be held for the first time. For this running event that also has it origins in Sweden, we are hoping for a similar growth curve as Vasaloppet China.

However, this is not the first time Nordic Ways have been praised in Changchun. Gavert Waag, GM at Nordic Ways has been awarded as “The Great Contributor of Jingyue Development Zone” by Jingyue Development Zone Management Committee, “The Outstanding Foreign Expert” by Jilin Province Government, and “Changchun Honorable Citizen” by the CGM.
