Today at 13:00 the first press conference for Lidingoloppet China was held in Changchun. The key persons in this conference were Mr Yang Wenjun (Vice Director of Jingyue Economy Development Zone), Mrs Chen Keshi (Director of Jilin Tourism Bureau), Jan-Erik Österström (General Secretary Lidingoloppet Sweden), and Mr Gong Wenbin (General Manager of Jingjuetan Park)

Around 30 media people were there to ask questions and listen to Mr Yang Wenjun introducing Lidingoloppet China with background, race-, and future plans. After him Jan-Erik held a speech about Lidingoloppet in Sweden, and what expectations they have of the Chinese race. They expect it to become even bigger than the Swedish race in the future.
