On the11th October 2008, Nordic Ways will organize the sister event to the norwegian Birkebeinerrittet here in China. Birkebennerrittet is a race with a history deeply rooted in the forests of the Scandinavian peninsula, so it couldn't be more perfect than to hold it in the northern mountains of Changchun. Here is some interesting facts and historical background to this race which is the biggest MTB race in the world.
