Next up-Birkebeinerrittet 11th October

Coming next in Nordic Ways event calendar is Birkebeinerrittet China which is organized in cooperation with the Norwegian Birkebeinerrittet-the biggest mountain bike race in the world. Participants can chose between a long distance of 60 km or a shorter of 25 km.
Changchun City stands as host for the mountain bike race which will be held in and around the forest park Jingyuetan. The park covers 200 square kilometers, with over 4.3 square kilometers water surface and 80 square kilometers of forest. 

Jingyue Lake is reputed as the sister of Sun-moon Lake in Taiwan. A vast sea of lush trees and chains of magnificent mountains form a rounded ecosystem. The whole scenic area consists of Jingyue Lake National Key Scenic Spot, Jingyue Lake National Park and Jingyue Lake Tourist and Vocation Area. Other attractions is the Northern Putuo Buddhist temple and the Jin Dynasty tombs.
