After a meeting between Lidingoloppet Sweden and Nordic Ways-organizer of Lidingoloppet China-it was decided that participants in Lidingoloppet China will from 2009 have the right to use their finishing result time in Lidingoloppet China as an official time for seeding in Lidingoloppet in Sweden.

This means that participants can use their finishing result time in Lidingoloppet China, 21st June 2009 in Changchun, to obtain a better start position in Lidingoloppet Sweden.
