Things are starting to get ready for another great race at the foot of Yellow Mountain.. Additional points has been made to the program with a trip to UNESCO World Heritage village Xidi on friday and open race track testing for bikers  in the afternoon. Every participant gets a free Event T-shirt as a memory.

The Chinese Mountain bike National Championships will be held on friday 20th in Huangshan. As a practice, some of the professional bikers will also take part in Huangshan MTB  Festival but they will not compete with the rest of the participants, are not eligible for prize money and their time will be recorded separately. This is a great opportunity to see and ride with the best mountain bikers in China right now!    

On Saturday, there is a chance of looking around in Hongcun Village, famous for its architechture and being one of the filming locations for movie "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon". Among other things you can see the lake where Zhang Ziyi and Chow Yun-Fat flew over in one of the scenes.

For those arriving late on friday, another trip to Xidi Village can be arranged if there is interest. A local travel agency also offers participants a guided trip to Huangshan on Sunday. More information here
