Weather forecast had predicted rain, but it waited until after the race, leaving the track in good condition for saturdays race. Talented Feng Kuanjie took the first place before former winner of Huangshan MTB Festival - Piers Touzel in the Mens 40 km. Tang Zhiqiang from Guangzhou took the third place.

In the mens 20 km-Hu Hao from Nanjing Unlimited Cycling was the strongest.

Womens 50 and 20 km was dominated by cyclists from Jufeng Exploration team with Sun Cheng and teammate Zhang Rui taking gold and silver in the 40 km before UCC 's Zheng Rufang. Womens 20 km was also won by a Jufeng cyclist-nr 539 Li Lei
