In a couple of days, the time has come for one of the biggest running events in China this summer – Lidingoloppet China. Already, over 10.000 people have signed up for this cross-country running event that takes place under the midsummer sun in the forests of Jingyuetan.

An exciting experience awaits the participants with festivities and Swedish food and beer at the Arena after the race. Acrobatics and music performances can be seen during the day and a lucky draw for the 2.5km participants will also be held. Li-Ning is Lidingoloppet Chinas product sponsor and all runners taking part in the short race has a chance to win sport bags, caps, wallets etc.

Runners’ finishing in the 3 top positions in the other races gets backpacks or running shoes apart from their medals and trophies… The winners of the 30km Mens and Womens class are also up for something extra special, they get a free trip to Sweden and a starting position in Lidingoloppet in Sweden in September.

If you also feel excited about going to the Swedish Lidingoloppet as well, remeber that Lidingoloppet China is an official seeding race for Lidingoloppet which means that you can get a better starting position in the Swedish race based on the time you do in Changchun.
