Genghis Khan MTB Adventure gets started today, July 1st. And it turns out to a beautiful beginning. Opening ceremony, 48km and 18 km race, prize giving ceremony, government banquet and outdoor Bonfire party picture this whole first successful beginning.
The bus left for the arena around 12:00, carrying on the whole working group and followed by the cyclists behind. Opening ceremony, folk music and the dance performance rocked the whole environment at first. After that, time for the race warm up! What a splendid scene that the whole participants riding right following the leading truck around the starting square. While all athletes and audience on-site are getting excited, the race starts! All riders just shoot from the start line without any hesitation, leaving the audience in long expectation and high excitement.
It’s really sunny today. The temperature is around 17 to 34 centigrade, which is really a great challenge for the participants. Nordic Ways has set the drinking station along the track and the ambulance all the way by in order to answer the call from our participants. Anyway, they made it at the end. Good job, you all! And keep going! Wish you all good luck for the following days.
